The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is a statutory body in the Department of Education, charged with working with all stakeholders in the Irish education system, to shape the curriculum for all children in our schools. They have a wide variety of information sheets for parents, available here. Some relevant ones for our school are linked below. The NCSE resources linked below may also be relevant for the children in our mainstream classes.

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) was set up to improve the delivery of education services to persons with special educational needs arising from disabilities with particular emphasis on children.  They have a wide variety of resources available for parents, available here. Some relevant ones for our school are linked below. The NCCA resources linked above are also relevant for children in our early intervention and autism classes.

Assemblies

Every month, a Principal's assembly is held in the school. At this assembly, we acknowledge the hard work of our pupils through  our Pupil of the Month awards. The assembly also has a focus on an aspect of school life or the yearly calendar, for example working together and celebrating differences. Please find below links to some of the assemblies from the academic 2024-2025. Please ask your children about the assembly.
