Junior and Senior Infants are learning about colour. Using paint in the three primary colours, we made contact print pictures. We used yoghurt drink bottles for the small circles and regular yoghurt cartons for the large circles. Ask your children about primary colours and why they are special!
The paintings are being displayed in the corridor, come and have a look at our beautiful work!
We have been using the school laptops to play maths games on the cracking maths websites. We were using our maths knowledge and skills to play games based on counting, ordering, addition, shape and space and much more. We were very lucky to have some children from sixth class to help us when we got stuck. We look forward to using the laptops more and more in the coming school year.
We have been growing beans! We watched the beans germinate in our sprout houses and then transferred them into biodegradable pots filled with soil. We have another exciting growing project on the go, growing cress, beans and spinach.
Junior and Senior Infants created Rainbow fish using a wide range of fabric and fibre.
