3rd Class/4th Class
We were really excited to get to do a project on a topic of our choice. We all selected interesting and exciting subjects and learned so much from each other. We worked very hard on creating wonderful presentations for our projects including dressing up, bringing in props and preparing art work for our classmates!
We had a fantastic day out on our school tour to Bay Sports in Athlone. We loved the water obstacle course, pedal boating, go-carting, learning how to make a fire and of course the coach journey! We were delighted that the weather was good and it felt like we were all on our holidays together!
During art class we examined some beautiful tulips - thank you Elí! We observed their wonderful colours, shapes and texture and then we drew our own pictures with oil pastels. After that we painted a watercolour wash over them. We think they look so bright and cheerful. We love nature!
Many thanks to Ben's Dad Mr. Mazor for coming in to our class and challenging us to construct our own bridges for Engineers Week. We really enjoyed planning our designs and working in groups to make our bridges. Mr Mazor was really kind and encouraging and gave us great advice on how to make a good bridge. We also got lovely certificates for our hard work. We learned a lot doing this challenge and we really enjoyed it!
We loved welcoming Zohar's beautiful new pet hamster Peach who came to visit our class!
