Just before the spring holidays our class took part in an Irish dancing session as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. The dance we learned was called 'The Walls of Limerick' - we soon got the hang of it!

MS Readathon

MS Readathon

A huge well-done to the girls and boys in our class who participated in the MS Readathon in October and November and received their prizes this week. They read dozens of books and raised over €600 for MS Ireland, a very worthy cause. Thank you to Ms. O'Kelly for helping to organise it!

International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day

We celebrated International Women's Day by learning about the achievements and progress made by women over the past century, and also by discussing how women and girls in some other countries still don't have the same rights as men and boys. We brought in books and read about inspiring women. Some of us even made posters and sashes, or chose it as a topic for free writing. We had a great day - have a look!
