We made lions last week using different types of lines.
This weeks Aistear theme is sport. In preparation for Active Schools Week (28th May - 1st June) we are talking about the role of physical activity in our lives.
We have four new stations to enjoy in the coming weeks.

The Writing Table - Students will design posters to encourage an active lifestyle.
Construction Table - Students will design and build sporting venues/ events (football field, basketball stadium, gymnastics hall, swimming pool etc) using lego and blocks.
The Playdoh Table
Our caterpillars were busy over the weekend! We were lucky enough to watch the first cocoon form on Friday morning and now we have five chrysalides. We safely transferred them into their net this afternoon and we are excited for the next step in the process.
We painted wild summer flowers last week. We used oil pastels, acrylic paint and cotton buds to create the delicate shapes. Take a look at our work below.
