This week 5th and 6th class made marble rollercoasters from recycled materials. Each group designed and built structurally sound and unique rollercoasters. We enjoyed showing off our creations to first and second class.

We really enjoyed doing our lessons out in the fresh air and sunshine. We felt very lucky!
5th and 6th class battled it out to build the tallest free standing tower using only newspaper and masking tape. They showed their wonderful engineering skills and worked so well together.

We have been using the school laptops to play maths games on the cracking maths websites. We were using our maths knowledge and skills to play games based on counting, ordering, addition, shape and space and much more. We were very lucky to have some children from sixth class to help us when we got stuck. We look forward to using the laptops more and more in the coming school year.
