21st September 2012 During the summer all the pupils read lots of books. The whole school made a summer reading tree. Each leaf represents a book. Mrs. Walsh's Art class painted the tree trunk and branches. The tree looks very impressive. 25th October 2012 On a beautiful autumn day pupils walked to Bushy Park for a nature walk. At the end of visit everyone got to have playtime in the playground. 21st January 2013 A zookeeper from Dublin Zoo came to visit pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class. He showed pupils lots of exhibits from the Zoo. Look at the photos to see what he brought. 15th March 2013 To celebrate World Book Day - Thursday, 7th March 2013 - every pupil drew their favourite book cover on a postcard. All the postcards were pinned to the wall. 15th March 2013 During October and November 2012, pupils from 1st class to 6th class participated in the MS-Readathon. They raised a staggering €3277.63. On Friday, 15th March they received their prizes, depending on the amount of money they had raised. A big cheer for all our readers and see the photos of them receiving their prizes. 8th May 2013 Jake - a Transition Year student in Stratford College - visited 3rd and 4th class to teach them how to play baseball. Jake represents Ireland at baseball. Check out the photos!
